Taylor received her PhD in Immunology and Microbiology in 2022 from the University of Rochester Medical Center. Taylor developed a strong interest in immuno-oncology research in Rochester that has continued through her postdoctoral studies. Taylor's doctoral research focused on improving the efficacy of radiotherapy for colorectal cancer by targeting the anti-tumor immune response. She then joined the Steele Labs shortly after receiving her PhD in 2022. Taylor's current research focuses on improving treatment for pediatric brain cancers, inluding medulloblastoma and ependymoma.
